The pool and outdoor area were clean and well kept, and my basic but clean room was only five meters from the pool, which worked perfectly. But the hotel calls itself four stars and I don’t think it earns that. Breakfast was poor, worse than at plenty of two-star places. The selection was limited, and after 8:30 a.m. they were slow to replenish the food. It’s out in an industrial park, far from everything, though that part makes sense. The staff were extremely unfriendly, with less than zero warmth. I’d give it three stars, maybe fewer, but certainly not four.

The breakfast buffet offered plenty of choice, while the dinner buffet was just acceptable. Food wasn’t replenished enough, the dishes were generally bland, and dessert options were limited. I didn’t try the pools, though they looked inviting, and the gym was basic. For my two-night leisure visit to Madrid, the room was attractive and well laid out. Bathrooms were spacious, and there was a large balcony, even bigger in the first-floor rooms. Cleaning was mostly good, though the bedsheet on my first night was dirty. It was changed before the second night and then clean.

The food and pool were both really good, and the hotel is close to the airport and allows pets. Our room was very clean, but a little worn, with the towel rack coming off the wall. It’s a good hotel, though it badly needs an upgrade.

I phoned to ask about booking for a group in the summer. The operator listened, then simply hung up. They didn’t answer my later calls either. It’s a shame that unprofessional operators could cost the hotel potential customers, especially a group rather than just two people paying 200eur.
