I've been glad to call Jade and Corne friends ever since our first stay here three years ago. They're genuinely lovely people, and run this clean, rustic little gem in historic Alcala la Real so professionally. The rooms are really comfortable, with king sized beds, tea and coffee, and a kettle. Bathrooms are modern and clean. Breakfast is a lovely continental spread with plenty of choice, and they make sure nothing is too much trouble. I can't recommend Casa Grande enough if you want to experience inland Spain. Fantastic, five stars plus!

The host was a lovely, welcoming English lady who speaks both English and Spanish. She made us a very good breakfast, which we could take along as a picnic for our walk on the Camino mozerabe. Our room was great, with a good bathroom, and a kettle, tea and coffee for making hot drinks. There's also a nice dining area with a small fridge and a lovely rooftop terrace. It's right at the top of the hill, so getting to the local Dia takes a bit of effort.

The town is lovely, and everyone we met was friendly. We had a nice room with a kettle, tea and coffee, and access to a fridge, freezer and microwave. The welcome was warm and helpful. I'd definitely stay again.

A family run place, very clean and friendly. The terrace has beautiful views, and there was plenty to eat at breakfast. They also have a triple room for walkers.
