Mirador Tierra de Frontera

The host was so welcoming and knew a lot about touring bikes, helping us out with ours. We also loved the beautiful room, the great house beer, and the memorable view over the castle and village. We hope to come back on our next visit to Andalucia!

We didn't stay at the hotel, so I can't comment on the rooms. From the restaurant, the view of Alcala and La Mota was fantastic, and the beer was very good. I enjoyed the Angus beef burger, though the first chips were underdone and the second batch was good. Service was disappointing. The waiter seemed more interested in some people at another table, and the four burgers arrived in reasonable time, but the pork and chicken for the other two in our group came after everyone else had finished.

The restaurant has fantastic views, and the beer and Angus Burger were good. The chips weren't so good, though, and the service really let us down. Two people in our party didn't get their food until the rest of us had finished. I didn't stay at the hotel, so I can't rate the rooms.

The castle view was great, and Pedro was very kind and spoke good English. The rooms are simple, with a shared kitchen and small shared living room. Getting there by car is difficult because the streets are so narrow. In summer it was too hot, around 38-40 degrees, and the room faced west. The bathtub was too narrow for a shower.
