Ciudad De Alcaniz

The rooms were clean and a good size, and I have no other complaints. One waiter was rude and unhelpful.

The food was delicious, the service was very good, and the rooms were clean with really comfortable beds. I stayed for five nights with my colleagues and a group of 21 students, aged 12-13, who were studying Spanish in Malta. We were in Alcañiz for an exchange. The management and staff went out of their way to make things run smoothly and were flexible with what we needed, including packed lunches for the day and an early breakfast. I recommend this hotel without hesitation!

The lamb at dinner was worth waiting for, though the restaurant doesn't open until 8pm and takes reservations. Reception was really helpful, and there’s free Wi-Fi with a good signal. The room was nice, with a big bathroom, but the shower water kept swinging between boiling and freezing. Breakfast is free and seriously generous, with meat, cheese, potatoes, coffee, and fresh orange juice made on the spot. There’s free parking on site, plus a garage for motorcycles, though it was full when we were there. A very good place to get a night’s rest.

The location worked well for Motorland Aragon, just an 8 min drive, though it’s far enough out of town that trying other places to eat wasn’t easy. We were there for four nights with the No Limits group. Front desk staff were consistently friendly and helpful, and the restaurant served decent food quickly. The baby lamb shoulder was perfectly tender each time, and the changing menu of the day was good value, especially if you’re hungry. The rooms were generally clean, but the duvet cover looked dirty, so we took it off.
