The house is very remote, and without a proper address it was really hard to locate using GPS. The rooms were below standard, and there were an extreme number of insects, wasps included. A bird had also made a nest in the grill chimney. There was no way to dispose of the rubbish locally, so you have to take it away yourself.

The bedrooms were clean and generally tidy, but several basic things made our stay disappointing. Water pressure was a big problem for days: sometimes the shower had no water, and at other times it suddenly became extremely hot, making it almost unusable. Several bathrooms were in an unacceptable state. Some toilet seats were heavily yellowed, one toilet leaked onto the floor when flushed, and two others kept running, presumably because their float switches were faulty. The kitchen was in poor shape too. The dishwasher was heavily rusted, the dishes were visibly dirty, the refrigerator looked neglected and uninviting, and the pans’ non-stick coating was peeling. That’s unappetizing and a health hazard. Several fundamental issues need urgent attention if the house is to meet the standards expected of a holiday home.
