The cleaning ladies were polite, and the face massage was great. The beach was only a two-minute walk away. But the pool wasn't for me: by 9, towels had taken all the chairs, with no people using them, and the maximum depth was 135cm. I didn't even try it. We were given a room for disabled guests for no apparent reason. It was small, the beds were very soft, and we could hear toilets flushing in nearby rooms. Around 7am the talking made it impossible to sleep any longer. German was the main language, and the food was German-oriented, with labels in German. One day I vomited, then the next day I woke up in the evening with somebody vomiting, and the same thing happened the day after. The kids' entertainer could use some geography lessons, since she didn't know the difference between Portugal and Brazil. All-inclusive meant food without quality or variety. I expected a Spanish feeling, not a German one. As everybody knows, if you go to Germany, you have to speak German.

The rooms are small, but spotlessly clean. The staff were excellent, pleasant and willing to help, and the all-inclusive food was good quality in a pleasant setting. There wasn't a room to store bicycles, but the hotel found another solution.

The shower was the grand finale. Want warm water? Apparently it comes straight from a volcano. Cold? From an iceberg. Lukewarm started that way, then kept switching between boiling hot and freezing, with absolutely no pressure. Allsun eden felt like a fake “all inclusive” hotel from the moment we arrived after six hours of travel, nearly dehydrated and looking for a clean glass to drink from. We only found long drink glasses, apparently meant just for orange juice. A lady from the hotel angrily yelled at us in Spanish and German, languages we don't speak. If you want soda, expect the sugariest drink ever. Even the milk tasted like sugary syrup. The room wasn't neat either. There was mold in cracks in the walls, not just in the bathroom, cracks in the walls, and ants everywhere, even in the room. It was noisy, and the giant glass wall by the toilet meant you couldn't sit on it properly. The balcony was cracked and full of ants. Judging by how it looked, I wouldn't lean on it: you had a 70% chance, maybe higher, of breaking the wall and falling to your death. The animation was only in German, which really made you feel left out, as if they had colonised this place back in 1933. Even the rules were in Spanish and German. You have to pay 10 euros for a towel so you don't steal it, which is fair, but you can't exchange it for free either, it's €1.50 per towel.

The food was excellent and varied, and the staff kept everything topped up. Esteban and alejandra deserve special mention: they worked very hard and paid guests attention in such a pleasant, kind way. Reception also handled some minor problems and complaints well, and the bar staff were quick with drinks and food requests. It was a good hotel without a doubt, with responsive personnel always focused on service. The rooms were okay and cleaned every day. One drawback: the street outside is quite noisy, especially at night, but that only affects street-side rooms. The air conditioning also doesn't always work properly.

There's plenty of food, though not all of it is very good, and the choices are limited if you have dietary needs. Service was good and the hotel is clean. A big downside is that all the information is in German. There's just one deep pool, so children under 150cm can't stand in it. Kids' animation is only in German, and there isn't really any other entertainment.
