This was the worst place I’ve stayed for the money, and it felt like a scam. My room was advertised with a “private bathroom,” but it was communal and anyone could enter. A man walked in as I was pulling my pants down. The listing said there was AC, but instead there was a broken fan that couldn’t be adjusted and had no protective case, which was a safety hazard. Staff were never around, didn’t answer the phone and didn’t speak English. I got no help all week with my concerns, and they didn’t respond to booking.com when I asked them to step in about a refund and my issues. There were ZERO amenities: no hot water, cup, beach towel or room trash can, and only one towel for the whole weeek. There was one thin blanket, not enough when it got cold at night, and no microwave, even in a shared area. There was no reception either. It was just a closet-sized room and a broken fan. I’ve NEVER stayed at a “hotel” with literally NOTHING.

I paid €100 a night for something like a 1970s youth hostel. When I arrived late and tried to shower, there was no soap. The bathroom cabinet door was missing, leaving the pipes exposed, and the bathroom door was only about 1.80 m high. At 1.86 m, I hit my head hard on the frame during the night. Awful place. Best advice is to stay away!

The staff were friendly and pleasant, and the shower gel had a lovely scent. I thought the air con was quite good. But it’s overpriced for what you get, and I wouldn’t stay again. If you do go, I’d avoid Room 109 and 110. My room had no view at all, just frosted glass. I hadn’t booked a sea view, but didn’t expect this; the online photos were very misleading. The WiFi didn’t work in my room at the back of the building. Staff kept saying a technician would “come tomorrow,” but it seemed like they knew this was a long-running problem and were fobbing me off. I had no phone coverage in the room either, so staying connected was nearly impossible. I wish they’d been honest about the WiFi and phone signal. It wasn’t filthy, but it hadn’t been properly cleaned. The sheets were changed daily, or at least the beds were made, but the leg of a cockroach I killed on day one stayed on the bathroom floor for my whole stay. I saw only one cockroach in total, which can be hard to avoid entirely in some climates, but the lack of cleaning was obvious. The shower was so small I could hardly move, and the oversized hot taps were right in the way. The bathroom floor flooded every time I used it. The pillows were terrible, might as well not have been there.

The automated check-in was really convenient, and the port view and location were lovely. The room was small and very basic, just like the photos, though reasonably clean. Our room was beside a shared toilet, and the walls were so thin we could hear everything. That made it a bit uncomfortable.
