Serenity Apartments

We came back for a second stay of over a month, and everything was perfect. The place was spotless, the pool was a fantastic bonus, and the workspace was especially useful for a long stay. The location is excellent too. Definitely recommend.

All our money disappeared from wallets we’d kept inside the apartment. We were shocked and called the manager to look into it. There was a digital card lock, but we found out a staff member had switched off entry logging two days earlier, so there was no way to tell who had entered our room. The manager didn’t even speak to the staff. We reported it to the Police, but there wasn’t much else we could do. I was robbed in the hotel room. The kitchen extractor above the stove wasn’t connected to anything, so smells and fumes went back into the room. The bathroom was neglected, with old, dirty silicone, peeling paint and a bad smell from the shower drain. Towels and bedding were dirty.

We won’t be coming back. My boyfriend and I found small bugs all over the bed, including in the new room we were moved to. We slept badly all week and didn’t feel the staff listened to us. It was a stressful holiday and we couldn’t relax in the room. We paid a lot for a room that didn’t feel clean, and all the sheets had small bloodstains and other marks. Breakfast was available for a fee at the hotel next door, but the choice was limited and there was nothing for people with allergies or gluten intolerance. That was surprising given the price. Not worth it.

It’s nicely laid out, with plenty of apartment types and locations to choose from, various pools and other activities. The atmosphere is friendly and very relaxed. It’s conveniently placed, while still being a little out of the way.
