Villa Herdain - Villa With Private Pool. Free Wifi

It was a quiet spot close to the beach, and we had a lovely stay with our two-year-old daughter. The place isn't big, but it was cozy, comfortable, and well equipped.

I rented this villa in summer 2021, but arrived to find a tarp covering a large part of the roof and a moldy smell inside. I had to stay somewhere else to feel safe. The company wouldn't refund me. In my view, if you don't have a proper roof, you shouldn't be renting the villa out. The whole experience was a nightmare.

We contacted the rental agency about the problems, and they made a few small changes, including using scented spray for the musty smell. That didn't come close to fixing things, and we still haven't received a response to our compensation request. We feel cheated. The house and the pool terrace were much smaller than the photos suggested. There was a musty smell throughout, and it never went away during our stay. Most things around the house looked old, rusty, worn, broken, or dirty. The sheets, towels, and tablecloths were stained, the skirting boards were dirty, and the kitchen was filthy. It didn't even have basics like coffee, oil, salt, spices, or a cutting board. The whole bathroom flooded when we showered, and the toilet seat was too small. We had expected a cozy, authentic Mallorcan villa, but the house seemed like it hadn't been rented for a long time.

We were unsure after seeing some of the photos, but once inside, they didn't seem to reflect the house we found. It was a wonderful stay in a small, welcoming place, with every detail covered, including the pool. It felt like the countryside, while still being right in the city and just a short walk from the beach. Thanks for such a pleasant stay.
