Veronica was so attentive and offered local tips if we wanted them. We had a lovely stay and would definitely come back. The kids spent their time in the pool, and the indoor and outdoor spaces were just right. It had everything we needed, and the air conditioning was much appreciated. It was perfect for the start of our holiday.

From the outside it looks great, but the kitchen appliances were broken or only partly working: the cooker, coffee machine, one tap and washing machine. There were ants everywhere. Don't stay here if you plan to cook for yourself or can't stand ants in your room.

It looked stunning outside, but the inside was a letdown. Our en-suite smelled of sewage, the shower was pathetic, and every room had ants. The pool wasn't cleaned once while we were there, and the air conditioning kept stopping. We wouldn't come back.

The villa was spacious and clean, but the furnishings were past their best. Our room's air conditioning was broken, which was a real problem with a baby. With so many mosquitoes, we couldn't leave the windows open at night. The landlord couldn't get it fixed during the week we were there, so we hardly got to relax.

The location was fantastic, only 5 minutes from Alcudia, and there was plenty of room in the house. We could see the villa had a lot of potential, and we did feel comfortable there, but at that price we expected more. The grounds weren't very well kept. There was water damage in the pool pump house, and brackish water flooded the toilet and the terrace outside it, bringing millions of mosquitoes. The damage was assessed but still hadn't been repaired when we left. The washing machine was broken, and when it did run it smelled strongly of stagnant water. Some bathroom drains were partly clogged and smelled awful. The coffee machine was broken too, though it was replaced. In one bedroom, the bed slats were ripped and the bed collapsed twice. We were told that was just how it was and nothing could be done. It was also very difficult to communicate with the service technician, who unfortunately only spoke Spanish. On departure day, checkout was meant to be by 10 a.m., but the cleaning crew arrived at 8 a.m., started cleaning the pool, and used a rototiller to clear weeds. We hadn't been told what to do with the trash either. When the service technician arrived, he said there was a container about 1 km away.
