It's such a calm, peaceful place, and there are lots of games to keep the kids busy. The house is comfortable and really clean, and the hospitality was perfect.

The best private spa on the south side of the city.
Cool.
The sauna worked perfectly, and we liked the BBQ's extractor fan, which kept the room free of smoke. The house was spacious and only a few kilometers from Salamanca. We went in December 2025 with 11 friends for a weekend, had a good time, and the house did what we needed, but we expected more. The layout was awkward. The bedrooms and living room are on the second floor, while the pool, games, and BBQ lounge is downstairs on level -1. Between those areas are two floors where other people live. The photos and description gave a misleading impression. We also found the pool dirty and cleaned it ourselves. The water was 30 degrees Celsius, lukewarm, and a few degrees warmer would have been nice. The ping-pong, pool, and dining tables are all the same piece of furniture, so you have to pick one use at a time. That wasn't mentioned. There was limited hot water, with only the first six people to shower getting a lucky turn. We couldn't use the upstairs TV because the remote was missing, and the owner didn't know where it was. The upstairs bathroom latch was broken, and rain on Saturday night brought some leaks. The house's quality didn't match its price, so we wouldn't return. EDIT 12/28/2025, responding to the owner's reply: Thanks for responding kindly and appreciating my earlier constructive criticism. I agree that different places suit different budgets and expectations, and this accommodation may not be for everyone. If you don't mind having no latches on two of the three bathrooms, or a toaster that doesn't work, this could suit you. Same if you don't mind the dartboard not working, or making electronic noise when darts hit it. If you're fine with hunting everywhere for the TV remote and then hearing from the owner that "it should be around here somewhere," though it wasn't, that may also be fine by you. The pool, ping-pong, and dining tables are one table, so you'll need to choose how to use it. And if you'd rather clean up what the owner calls the "occasional residue from water treatment" yourself, instead of arriving to a clean spa or hot tub, this could be the place. They described that residue as a sign of active maintenance, though I'd never seen it in other hot tubs or pools. If you're happy to pay over €500/night for all that, you'll thoroughly enjoy your stay! P.S. Photos, expectation versus reality.
The barbecue and its extractor fan were highlights, as were the sauna and pool. We also liked the clay oven, though we didn't use it, and the location near Salamanca. We stayed as a large group for a weekend. The house worked for a few days together, and some things were very nice, but we agreed it didn't match the price or the advertised quality. The photos and description set expectations that the actual house didn't meet in some areas. It felt like it needed maintenance and updating. The bedrooms and kitchen are on the second floor, with the leisure and barbecue areas in the basement, so there's a lot of going up and down. The elevator is there, but not convenient for a big group. The bedrooms were fine, though some beds felt quite small for adults. One bedroom also serves as a dining room, so if anyone uses it, there's no shared area on the second floor. For comfortable beds and an upstairs common area, I'd count it as four bedrooms rather than five, making it a fit for 8-9 people. The pool itself was very nice, but it wasn't clean when we arrived and we had to clean it. In winter, we'd have liked the water 1-2 degrees Celsius warmer so we wouldn't get cold. We also ran into small problems: some bathroom latches were missing or didn't work, rain caused leaks, we couldn't use the TV because the remote was nowhere to be found, the electronic dartboard didn't work, and the foosball table was pretty broken. None of that was serious, but it isn't what you'd expect from a place advertised as luxurious. We also hadn't realized from the photos that the dining, pool, and ping-pong tables were all the same piece of furniture. After we left, we read recent reviews from other groups, and they largely matched what we experienced. It left us feeling the accommodation currently fell short of its advertised standard and its price. It was decent, but not as spectacular as advertised and below our expectations. We wouldn't return at that price.
