La Posada Puente Romano

Lovely staff and breakfast, with spacious rooms and a roomy bathroom in a good location. I found dog hair in the covers on my bed, which I assume came from the hotel’s dog. Otherwise, it’s a nice place.

The restaurant is open for breakfast only, and the breakfast was fine but nothing special. I think they could improve it with more choices. The ladies at the restaurant were especially friendly, and the village is fantastic, with a lovely walk to the ocean through beautiful scenery. But there’s basically nothing nearby. We didn’t know the area, and when we arrived everything was closed. You can’t even get a bottle of water at the hotel, so we had to buy food for dinner at a gas station. A vending machine would help guests get by and probably improve satisfaction.

Something’s off here. MAYBE the owner or manager got sick. There was no staff and no heat. The TV remote didn’t work, and it took three calls to get the WIFI password. At least the sheets looked clean and there was hot water. It was quiet, with no other guests around.

The rooms are nice and good value, and the staff are really kind and helpful. It’s close to some lovely areas. Breakfast comes with fresh lemon juice.
