The garden is huge, with a lovely view and lots of animals, and our host was very friendly. Our room was spacious and cosy. We’d first been given a low attic room, but we were too big to fit comfortably, so they upgraded us. Breakfast was fantastic, no complaints there. Dinner was a letdown. My steak was almost raw and the fries weren’t fried well. The food felt too simple and wasn’t good, and the woman serving us wasn’t very friendly either.

We had a lovely couple of days relaxing here. The rooms by the pool are big and well kept, and free bikes are available. Service and facilities were excellent, the restaurant was good, and the coffee was very good too. Highly recommended.

The photos made the place look much better than it was. We’d requested specific rooms months ahead, but weren’t given them, even though the hotel wasn’t full when we arrived. For the price, it wasn’t worth it and offered poor value.

The cliffs are within walking distance, with breathtaking views. It’s a great spot to slow down and enjoy nature. The hotel is very clean, the garden is amazing, and the staff are kind and helpful.

It feels like the owner runs the hotel personally. We really enjoyed our stay, with excellent service, a lovely pool and garden, and fantastic dinner and breakfast.
