A great place to stay, with an amazing pool and garden beside a creek. It’s perfectly located for visiting the surrounding towns and going on nearby scenic walks. Don’t miss the waterfall and the ruins of the Mills on the coast, they’re amazing!

Enjoy the peace and quiet, it’s fantastic. For an inn, everything’s great: there’s a pool, barbecue area, umbrellas, hammocks and more. There’s no air conditioning, but I don’t think it’s needed.

The rooms look like they were renovated in the 80s or 90s, and there’s no air conditioning or refrigerator. Depending on what you need, it might work for you as long as you’re not too demanding.

The location worked well for getting around. It’s not far from several lovely beaches and sits halfway between Comillas and Santillana. The room was very poorly cleaned when we arrived: crumbs on the bedside tables and floor, hair in the bathroom, and even two used, wet towels left there. Watch out for the breakfast charges too. When we arrived, it was described as “sponsored,” and the sheet we were given said “breakfast included,” so we had breakfast there for four days. It wasn’t up to hotel or posada standard at all. There were just two kinds of toast and a croissant with packaged jam, plus juice and coffee. At checkout we were surprised to find breakfast had cost 4.50 euros per person per day, 36 euros extra in total. The nearby road is very noisy too.

The place is very clean and has a swimming pool, but the soundproofing could be better. A good place to stay near Santillana del Mar.
