The breakfast was part of what I paid for, especially since we had a long trip ahead and wanted to eat before leaving. But with 25 minutes still left before the 11 o’clock closing time, the front desk woman was already packing things away. When I asked for something, she said they didn’t have it and looked at me like, why are you here? She was rude from the moment we arrived, and when we asked for extra towels, she told us to come downstairs and get them ourselves. The room was mediocre too. Some of the worst customer service I’ve had in a long time.

The room’s bathtub was a real plus, with good water pressure and temperature. Beyond that, this hotel felt short on the amenities you’d expect for a business stay. The air conditioning exists, but the front desk controls it and might not turn it on for your visit. Breakfast costs a premium price despite being about the same quality as the continental breakfast included at other hotels. It’s also not close to the city center or public transport, so you may need to factor taxi costs into the room price. If I’m in Algeciras again, I’ll choose somewhere else.

A nice hotel that covers the basics. Just be aware that standard rooms don't come with bathrobes, coffee in the room, or slippers.

The room was clean and looked after, and I slept well in the comfortable bed. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location made it easy to explore. Street noise was the main downside, since we could hear everything outside and the windows need better sound insulation. The decor also felt a little dated. It was a pleasant stay, though a few improvements would make it even better.
