Hotel María Luisa

Diego gave us a warm welcome and great service. He was very professional, flexible, and full of helpful advice, which made our family’s shopping night away really enjoyable. The hotel is well located, close to Centro Europa mall, just a 4-minute taxi ride away, and there are taxis right beside the hotel. I highly recommend it. Thank you, Diego. Atika

The rooms were very clean, the staff were friendly, and breakfast was decent. I expected somewhere dodgy and very low class just to spend the night, but although it’s a basic hotel, I’d definitely stay again. There’s a supermarket just across the road for essentials, and the port is a short taxi ride away. It’s probably the safest hotel in Algeciras, so if you know, you know why. A great stay, Gracias!

Diego was easy-going and a great host, with lots of useful tips that helped us feel comfortable and plan our visit to Gibraltar. I’ve stayed at several hotels over the past few years, and this might be the best experience I’ve had with the staff. The rooms were comfortable enough, and parking on site is limited. In the morning there’s coffee and toast.
