The cave pool and spa were beautiful, and the service was friendly and helpful. I came for a relaxing swim and loved it.

It’s one of those places you either like or hate. For us, it felt far too old-fashioned and dark, though it was spacious and clean. Breakfast was poor and only served from 10 to 12. There was no choice: just a piece of toast, butter, marmalade, a few slices of ham and two plums. At this price per night, I’d expect a better deal.

The cave rooms are especially nice. We’ve stayed three times, and it’s a great spot for a night: enjoy the baths, have lunch in their great restaurant, then take a stroll by the lake.

We had lunch at the restaurant and enjoyed it, but had to drive to Alhama de Granada for supper. We can only assume supper wasn’t served because we stayed in November. The rooms were nice, though the bed had just one very long pillow for two people. We didn’t use the Aribic Hamam, but it looked very inviting.

The rooms were great and well decorated, and I enjoyed the weekend break. There’s no soundproofing between rooms, though, so I could hear everything next door.
