La Isla

The lake is beautiful, and Isla is a lovely place to relax. There are great apartments with a shed you can use for parties, plus some good gym equipment and running tracks around the resort. There’s also a park at the entrance to the island. It’s a beautiful place.

We had a lovely apartment when we stayed here in August, but the site is let down by the smell from the lake. It was like sewer or dead water, making it almost impossible to sit outside. This was all due to the lack of rain.

For apartment living, this is a very good development, especially if you want a lock-and-leave holiday place. El Kasar has all the amenities, just a short walk away, and Puerto del Mazarron beaches are a 20-minute drive.

A great place to stay, clean and safe, with all the modern conveniences. Condado centre is nearby, and the site has its own security guards around the clock. There’s an outdoor pool, and it’s near the golf club.
