For a short stay before or after a flight, Apartamentos Santa Clara is a practical choice. There’s free parking, which is especially handy if you’ve rented a car, and it’s near Málaga airport. The apartments are basic but functional, with what you need for a quick stop. The internet was fast and reliable enough for remote work, and the reception staff were professional, friendly and fluent in English, so check-in felt smooth and reassuring. The main issue was the poor soundproofing. You can easily hear other guests opening and closing hallway doors, which could bother light sleepers. It’s not really set up for a long holiday, but it works well for a night around a flight, with convenient parking, helpful staff and reliable facilities.

Andrea at reception gave us an incredibly warm and helpful welcome. The apartment was a good size and had nice views, and it’s within walking distance of town. The beds were clean and comfortable, and the air conditioning and shutters did a good job keeping out the peak summer heat. But there was hair all over the bath, the floors were filthy, and the couch was dirty too. For the price, though, it wasn’t bad.

The staff were polite and efficient, and our room was clean and comfortable. Prices are very reasonable, and the location is handy for both the airport and Malaga. You’ll really need a car to get to other places unless you’re happy paying taxi fares.

Such a friendly team, they made our stay really pleasant, and I’m grateful to the hotel employees. The hotel is in a quiet, nice area with great mountain views. Beaches are just 25 minutes away by bus from the hotel. Hopefully I can come back in the summer.
