The pool was the highlight for us: it’s a good size and very clean. We spent a few days here with our family, and the children enjoyed the pool table, foosball and basketball hoop, though those all need some upkeep. The layout is a bit strange. The bedrooms are okay apart from the upstairs master, which doesn’t offer much privacy. The kitchen is small, and there’s plenty of room in the living area for an extra freezer. Given how hot it gets there, the air conditioning isn’t enough. At minimum, more air conditioning and a freezer or refrigerator would help.

We were very happy with our stay in this typical Spanish house, and communication with the host was excellent. The lovely exterior, great pool area and barbecue space with a shaded table were real pluses, along with ample parking, a games room and beautiful mountain views. For a group of 15, the kitchen utensils were a bit limited, and the games were worn. Thanks to our host.

There’s a lot to like about the house: the recreation area is large, the outdoor space is spacious and pleasant, and the pool is great. It was clean, the surroundings are peaceful, and we had no complaints about the mattresses or pillows. Still, after a summer stay, I’d say the value for money was only okay. The main issue was upkeep. The dishwasher wasn’t properly maintained. The owner said that was the customer’s responsibility, but it had no salt or rinse aid, which didn’t seem reasonable. After we complained several times, he sent an appliance technician, who didn’t fix it. The owner then stopped replying, and we gave up on the dishwasher. The washing machine also had problems, with its door hanging off the hinges. A technician seemed to fix that, but it still couldn’t dissolve the detergent. The extractor fan was very noisy. The indoor games area was usable, but needed attention too. One dart was missing, the foosball handles were stiff from lack of basic maintenance, and the pool cues were in poor shape or missing tips. Air conditioning was limited to one wall mounted split unit serving the main living room and upstairs bedroom hallways. It shut off after three hours, and there was no remote to adjust the temperature. The bedrooms and indoor recreation area had no air conditioning. Outside lights switched off at 1:00 AM and couldn’t be turned back on afterward. The owner lent us an extension cord to plug in a nightlight, but the pool light was out as well. The owner said the pool and outdoor lights were set up this way so guests wouldn’t leave them on all night. That didn’t seem logical to me. Regards.
