We took a nighttime walk through Almaraz and enjoyed wandering its streets, though the passing cars took away a little of the charm. The village itself is a gem. The hotel, set in a former train station, was surprisingly charming and wonderfully peaceful. Service was superb, breakfast was excellent, and the attic games room was a real highlight.

A very quiet spot that’s good for relaxing, with spacious rooms that are quite adequate. I was hoping for a little more attentiveness from the staff at breakfast, though.

Virginia, the manager, made sure I had plenty of information and amenities right from the start. I only stayed one night, but the spacious room and bathroom were spotless, and the idyllic setting was great for unwinding. I’ll definitely come back and highly recommend it.

The rooms are large and cozy, and everything was very clean and well maintained. It’s a great place to relax in complete quiet. The people running it are so welcoming that I’ll come back whenever work brings me to this area.

The attic games room is a lovely extra for unwinding after sightseeing, and we’d definitely recommend the place. Our room and bathroom were very spacious and clean. Everything is well maintained, with simple but tasteful decor, and the staff are really friendly.
