The pool area is beautiful, and the room had what I needed, including a coffee machine. The shower was amazing and the bed was great. It was a really relaxing stay, and for the price this is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. Parking on the street may be possible, but it’s over 1 km away. Restaurants are an easy walk.

The owner was really helpful, and the room was cleaned to an amazing standard every day. It’s a great hotel, close to everything. We booked because children aren’t welcome here, so read the hotel description before you book. Some people seem to have got the wrong idea from earlier reviews. Don’t blame the hotel’s policy if you can’t read!

Pedro was great for advice on places to visit and eat. The hotel is small and attractive, with a riad style, and it’s well placed for the Alcazaba, the old city and nearby restaurants. Upstairs there’s a lovely little pool and very comfortable seats. The beds were very comfortable too, and the shower over the bath was excellent. Recommended.

The owner turned us away at the door after we’d driven for hours to Almería. I’d booked for my wife and me but hadn’t added our 1.5 year old son, who has no special needs and sleeps in our bed. Even if that was my mistake, the owner made no effort to help and showed no regret. I found him unhelpful and heartless. The hotel is in a neighbourhood that felt shady and unwelcoming. Narrow streets and alleys, graffiti on walls and shopfronts, and messages scrawled on parking garage walls made me feel unsafe. I left and I’m glad I did. If you want a pleasant stay with friendly staff, don’t come here.
