Hotel Victoria Matalascañas

I felt I should leave my own comment after reading the owner’s reply to my husband’s review. We were just sharing our honest experience, not trying to be detectives. It was disappointing that our feedback seemed to be treated more like a joke than a serious opinion. We couldn’t tell whether the room had been cleaned before we arrived. There were shampoo bottles left by previous guests, dark marks in the shower that didn’t look properly cleaned, hair in the fridge, and long dark hairs in the drawers. I didn’t feel comfortable unpacking, so I kept my things in the suitcase. All of that is a no-go. Maybe the ashtray was meant as decoration, but a little note explaining that would have helped. Guests should be able to share their experiences honestly, and the owner should welcome that instead of ridiculing them.
