It’s a long walk back from the beach, so keep that in mind if you’re not used to walking. It takes around 10-15 minutes to get to the beach, and longer to reach the main square near Caño Guerrero. The pool is very shallow, probably barely 1.5 m in the middle, so it’s more for relaxing than swimming and doesn’t have a lifeguard. The place was quiet at night and the rooms were clean. A Superior double comes with a terrace on the middle level, not the ground floor, which is nice. The air conditioning works well and has flexible fan settings, so you can have a gentle breeze at night. There were two small bottles of water in the fridge, and there’s a secure car park on site for an extra charge. The food truck is fixed in place and has a nice bar. Smoking and vaping are allowed on your terrace or balcony and at the bar. Ask at the bar for an ashtray if you need one.

The customer service was terrible. They kept contacting me before and during my stay with WhatsApp messages, more than one, lots of emails, and calls. On arrival day they called twice for no reason, then shortly after I got into the room they called to ask me to pay for parking. Why call me about that? The lot was empty, but they still wanted €15 for 12 hours to park my motorcycle. I wouldn't go back even if the stay were free.

The pool wasn't deep enough, but since the hotel was quiet and clean, we were still able to use it. The waiters and reception staff were both very friendly. Breakfast was good, especially the freshly squeezed orange juice, though they should provide a menu showing the options. The pillow was the one thing I didn't like. It was quite bad, in my opinion.

We wanted somewhere peaceful to unwind, and that's what we found. The pool was lovely and clean, and not too busy even in the middle of August. There's no restaurant, but the food truck had reasonable prices and we really enjoyed the breakfast and lunch there. A very positive stay, with all our expectations met. Great job, On! We'll definitely come back whenever we can.
