The house is such a peaceful, beautiful refuge, and the breakfast and optional dinner were incredible. Casa El Chorro felt like home to me, and I completely fell in love with it. Sarah and Arnould are wonderfully warm hosts who made me feel cared for straight away. It’s a short train ride from Málaga, and they even offer station pickup, which makes getting there easy. If you’re hiking Caminito del Rey, bring exact cash for the shuttle bus. They don’t take cards, and the driver has no change. I’d come back anytime.

A lovely place for peace and a nice view. Sarah and her man looked after the property and were really kind. Thanks for a great stay. Watch out on the roads getting there, there are lots of holes.

We had a huge, quiet, comfortable room, and everything about the stay felt easy and relaxing. Casa el Chorro is one of the best places we’ve stayed. Sarah and Arnaud are genuine, welcoming hosts. The beautiful grounds have lots of spots to sit, each with a different view of the valleys, and the pool was crystal clear and very clean. The food was superb too, and Arnaud made sure we left in the morning with full stomachs. Can’t recommend it enough!

The photos really don’t do the place justice. Arnaud and Sarah have made it wonderfully peaceful, with thoughtful details everywhere, and they put you at ease right away. Great views, a lovely breakfast, and a well-priced honesty bar for a drink after walking or horse riding nearby. 10/10, I can’t recommend this stay enough.
