El Cielo Azul is a quaint, lovely hotel across the train tracks in Álora, with a lot of history reflected in its decor. The service, food, pool, and rooms were all exceptional, and the place was spotlessly clean. Chang, the resident German Shepherd, greeted us gently and calmly 💙

The owners know the region and nearby activities really well, and the service was very good. It’s a lovely place with a small pool, and you can stay in for dinner or a drink instead of going out to find a restaurant. They offer gluten-free bread at breakfast, but anyone with celiac disease should check the other items. I’m on a low FODMAP diet and managed breakfast with a few small adjustments. There’s also a very small parking lot if you arrive by car.

Olivier was such a friendly, attentive host that we felt at home right away. His sweet dog Chang and the cats came by to welcome us every day. El Cielo Azul is peaceful, beautifully decorated, and spotless. We enjoyed unwinding in the lush garden and eating the delicious food, especially the Bolognese. We can’t wait to come back.

The hosts were fab and welcoming, and the place is animal-friendly. We had clean rooms and a lovely outdoor space with a salt pool and garden full of mature fruit trees. Breakfast with local produce was included in a great price, and the host even made pancakes for the children without us asking 👌

Our room had everything we needed, and the host was really friendly and attentive. The home has been beautifully renovated while keeping lots of character. There are lovely gardens and a pool, plus a homemade Spanish breakfast made with quality local products. Highly recommend this wonderful B&B.
