Apartamentos Masella 1600

The apartment and pool were great, but the double mattress was a disaster. It's a shame, but unless they replace it, we won't come back.

We've stayed here a couple of times, and I still think there are a lot of things to improve. The cost feels very high compared with other options, and there's no small reception on site, so everything has to be handled at the hotel. The reception staff were excellent, but my suggestions haven't been acted on. Getting to some apartments is awkward depending on where yours is, and hauling suitcases up and down to the car becomes an adventure. The bunk-bed rooms are cramped, with nowhere but the floor for your luggage. Inside, there was dust and hair on the floor when we arrived, and the kitchen had very few utensils. It shouldn't be hard to provide wine glasses and cooking tongs. Are we meant to turn meat with a fork? The mattresses are poor quality, and the double bed sloped enough to make sleeping uncomfortable. Also, those four-sided central fireplaces ought to have special glass panels and a door that opens for storing firewood. Without them, smoke fills the apartment. The private apartments in the same complex have that setup.

We were five adults in a triplex with two tiny bedrooms and bunk beds. There was hardly room for clothes or luggage, and the master bedroom felt cramped, with everything pushed against the wardrobe. The rooms, kitchen, and living area were all very dark. The bathroom had no hooks, so there was nowhere to hang towels. Getting to the place was extremely difficult because it was so far from the road, especially with ski bags and supplies. The service was terrible when we asked for basic things like wine glasses. The hotel is responsible for providing them, but refused. The pool was cold, including the area around it, and they wouldn't refund us when we asked. It felt like a rip-off for such an overpriced stay.

The apartment was modern and fine, but they shut off the electricity and hot water before checkout time. Leaving us unable to shower in cold weather, with freezing water, felt incredibly indecent. The contact number only gave an automated message saying customer service was closed for the weekend. It was a major lack of respect.
