Breakfast is simple but filling, just toast, cake, and coffee or tea. You need to let them know at breakfast if you want dinner that evening, and I really recommend doing that. Elena is a great cook, with excellent Spanish food, and she understands allergies and dietary needs. Some dishes were among the best things I've ever eaten, paired with lovely local wines. It's a very quiet, peaceful finca among olive trees and vineyards. Jaime and Elena welcome you like old friends and are thoughtful, attentive hosts. The rooms are spotless, comfortable, and quiet. There's lots of birdlife around the estate, with 37 species recorded nearby.

The host speaks five languages and gave us loads of information about the area. Since we were walking the Camino and on foot, he even drove us to and from town. He really went out of his way for us. This Casa Rural is a gem, and we've stayed at many in Spain. It's surrounded by mountains, right among the vineyards, and wonderfully peaceful. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and each has its own decor. The wine made from grapes grown on the estate was delicious.

Everything was great apart from breakfast. It was poor, just bread and butter!

The room was clean and decent, though fairly basic, and breakfast was average with little variety. Staff were polite but not especially friendly. Nothing went wrong, but there wasn't anything that made the stay memorable either. It was satisfactory, though I don't feel like returning anytime soon.
