Apartamentos Teresana

We’d definitely come back, and thank you very much. The staff were very friendly and shared information about hiking trails in the surrounding area. The apartment is at what used to be the old entrance to Alquézar, in a very good location. It’s clean, and the kitchen is well equipped. There’s air conditioning in the living room and bedrooms, but the apartment gets direct sun from sunrise, and the living room unit isn’t enough on very hot days. Highly recommended.

The curtains let in a lot of light, so the east-facing room is fully lit by 7:00. Aside from that, it’s very clean and comfortable, and the central location is its best feature, with parking and restaurants nearby.

The price is very reasonable, and having a washing machine with a little outdoor space for drying clothes was handy. The owners were available and friendly, too. When something came up during our stay, they made a real effort to sort it out quickly. The apartment is right on picturesque Pedro Arnal Cavero street, close to a small supermarket and three bread ovens. The old oil mill next door was pressing olives while we were there, and that strong smell seemed to be everywhere. We stayed in the first-floor “Executive” apartment. You reach it by stairs shared with the other two apartments, through a lovely Gothic passage, so it isn’t suitable for anyone with reduced mobility. It’s advertised for four, but it felt very, very small. The layout isn’t especially functional, and there isn’t much natural light. Still, it worked well enough as a place to sleep while we went out to enjoy the town and the local architecture and scenery. There are a few things that need attention: the taps barely run properly, some sockets and the extra dining-room lamp are broken, and some board games are incomplete. The kitchen utensils could do with replacing as well. The sofa bed isn’t very comfortable, and because it sits by the main window, light comes through its translucent curtain at night. That window seems to be one of the town’s most photographed. Whenever we looked out, someone was taking a picture of it. 😄

The town feels like a dream, and the place itself was spotless and really well looked after. The women working there were so friendly. We had an incredible stay and will definitely come back.
