The place looks nice, and the staff were friendly and helpful, but the hotel itself was poor quality. Reception was very welcoming when I arrived, though I walked straight into a sauna. My room felt at least 27 degrees, and the air conditioner seemed to blow hot air. Staff explained it was heating only and that they turn it off in season. Ridiculous. I had to leave the balcony doors open to make the room cool enough to sort of sleep, but loud jazz was playing in the courtyard. At 23:41 on a weekday, I called reception after failing to sleep even with earplugs, and they switched it off right away. The next day, the full sun made the room unbearable, so I asked to move and they gave me another room immediately. But light came in all night through a gap under its door, and I could probably hear every word in the hallway. The shower also flooded after about two minutes because the water wouldn't drain. I appreciated that they texted me pretty quickly when I left my laptop behind. And don't list air conditioning in the room description if there isn't any.

Axel made a stressful trip much easier. He handled both my check-in and checkout, and when I was anxious about traveling, he made sure I had what I needed to enjoy my week in Altafulla. The staff were amazing throughout my stay, and Axel turned what felt like a nightmare into a dream. I really appreciate him!

We usually stay at the May hotel, which is run by the same company, but this was a completely different experience. It's our anniversary, and we'd called days ahead to arrange something, paying extra, but nobody mentioned it when we checked in. The room had two single beds pushed together, with a sheet laid over them as the manager's solution. Very romantic. An alarm kept going off every 20 minutes, all day. We went up to the roof to get away from it, only to find no towels there even after asking reception. After just an hour, I'm looking for somewhere else to stay tonight. This hotel is a joke compared with the May hotel, and every part of the experience has been terrible. Shame on your management.

We came for my daughter's wedding and had a wonderful time at the hotel. The staff were attentive and always ready to help, especially Daniella, who helped us plan our travel. Our room was comfortable and breakfast was great. I hope we get to come back someday.

The buffet restaurant staff were so friendly and attentive, all of them really lovely. Gloria was my personal highlight. Thanks so much! Saludos de Alexandra, la alemana.
