Altea Sol

The pool and the sea are both close by, so there was plenty to do for adults and kids. The beach is pebbly, so bring water shoes. The apartment had everything we needed and is in a family-friendly residence. We could reach someone on site if anything came up, and the owner was lovely and quick to respond. We can't wait to come back to Altea.

We spent time exploring Altea on the bicycles the owners provided, including riding the cycle path towards Albir and going to Altea's covered market. There are water sports nearby too, like jet skiing, kayaking, paddleboarding and boat rentals. The town center is an easy walk, with its white houses, little streets and lots of restaurants serving different kinds of food. The seafront is a lovely place to sit and take in the view. We also visited the Fonts de l'Algar, El Castell de Guadalest and Valencia, all easy to get to. The apartment itself is peaceful, comfortable and thoughtfully renovated with quality materials. It has a modern kitchen, walk-in shower, large bedroom, useful appliances and air conditioning that was just right at certain times of day. From here you get a magnificent view of the sea and the Calp rock. The beach is nearby, with pebbles, turquoise water and relatively few people, and we enjoyed the outdoor pool as well. The owners were kind and available throughout, answering our questions, offering advice and helping make the stay easy. We'd gladly come back and enjoy the place again. Thank you!

One small drawback was the fridge, which felt a bit small and could be an issue for a family. Apart from that, we had a fabulous time. The apartment was well kept and had what we needed, and the two air conditioners were exceptional. David and Ciona were so attentive. Having the pool and beach right outside, plus parking by the entrance and beach, was a huge plus.

David, the owner, was really helpful, and the service was great. We came with our baby and everything went perfectly. The apartment was new and had all we needed. We'll definitely come back.
