Genoveva made us feel right at home, with so much kindness and care over the little details. The room was cozy and comfortable, and we loved the wonderful pool. A lovely place to unwind while exploring Altea. Thank you, Genoveva!

We ended up having to go home and cut our vacation short after the room flooded following our first night. We tried to be understanding and didn’t complain. We even contacted a plumber ourselves, since the owners hadn’t bothered to learn Spanish. They refunded the nights we couldn’t stay, but still charged us for the first one, which felt very rude. The whole thing was beyond our control and ruined the trip. In normal circumstances, this would be a good place to stay.

If you want somewhere peaceful to switch off and feel at home, this is a lovely choice. It’s in a residential area on the outskirts, in Altea la Vieja, and there’s even a little stream you can walk to. Genoveva, a lovely French woman, runs the place and thinks of every detail. From the decor to her tips for visiting Altea, everything felt just right from arrival to departure. One of the most beautiful, peaceful places I’ve visited this year.

Having breakfast on the terrace with those views is priceless, and the location is fantastic. The apartment is on the ground floor of the villa where Genoveva lives. It’s charming, decorated in white to match the rest of the villa, and Genoveva is incredibly friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.
