The air conditioner worked, but sounded like there was a tractor in the room. Good heavens, what a racket! The hotel itself is typical roadside accommodation. It wasn't exactly dirty, but it wasn't spotless either. And if someone in the next room was showering too, there was barely any hot water left. That's about all I can say.
