The manager had a great sense of humour and was a really good bloke. He made us a lovely breakfast for a very reasonable price. Our room was quiet at night and perfectly adequate, with a fridge.

The service was great, and the manager was very helpful. The hotel and rooms were spacious and very clean. The decor is a bit dated, but the location worked well for my stop on the Camino.

There are plenty of places to eat outside, and it's an okay spot for a night on the Camino. I felt a little unwelcome, though. When I came into the breakfast room, where other people were eating, the owner told me rather coldly that breakfast wasn't included in my price. It was awkward, so I went to a lively, pleasant cafe nearby instead. Apart from that odd atmosphere, it was fine for one night.

For the price, this is great value, and the friendly staff keep the hotel, rooms, and corridors very clean. My room was a good size, with a large bathroom, toiletries, and towels. The scented room cleaner was lovely and the fragrance lasted all evening. It's close to cafes and restaurants, which is handy for dinner, though the area can be a little noisy. It's also near the Camino de Santiago, with just 6-7km left for an early arrival at the Cathedral. Just a minor point about the noise.

I was glad I could book a decent place at a reasonable price, and it suited what I needed. The nearby cafe/bars stay open late, so the area can be noisy until quite late. There's also a self-service laundry just around the corner.
