The owners are warm, lovely people and took such good care of us. We stayed twice, on our way to and back from Portugal, and loved it both times. On the return trip, all the local restaurants were closed, so our host kindly offered us dinner, which we really appreciated. The inn is in a charming village and feels like a wonderful secret. It’s furnished with antiques in great taste, but still completely modern and comfortable. We had the best bed we’ve slept in for ages. I’m sure you won’t find a better place to stay in this part of Spain, and we’re looking forward to coming back.

We were cycling from Holland to Portugal, and really enjoyed our stay. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming. They even served us a great meal when we had no chance to find food. The breakfast was fit for kings, and the big, comfortable rooms had all the luxury we could imagine. The house and rooms are beautifully decorated, and the garden, with its flowers and green grass, is a real oasis of calm. It works for a short stop or a longer stay. If you have time, visit the castle and the village’s historic places. Maribel and Jose-Antonio, thanks!

What a lovely find. The owner, Jose, took such care of us. The rooms are spacious and beautifully appointed, and the whole property is thoughtfully designed and decorated. I wholeheartedly recommend staying here.

We stayed here six years ago, and I still remember the place, the patio, and eggs that actually tasted like eggs. I also remember the relaxing walks with locals in the nearby park.
