The service and attention were incredible, and the food was really good. It’s a lovely place to stay, with spacious rooms and charming architecture. A peaceful, quiet spot away from the usual Camino hotels.

A gorgeous historic place with impeccable attention to detail. The cuisine is outstanding, and it feels like a hidden treasure near Santiago. It’s a perfect setting if you need a break from city life, a haven of peace, as they say in French :)

The restaurant was a highlight, with sublime dinner and breakfast. Elena, the owner, is happy to share the history of the Paso. Take time to see the chapel and wander the stunning grounds. It feels like a fairytale manor house, with rustic, compact but comfortable rooms facing a courtyard lined with ancient oaks.

The food alone made the trip worthwhile, and the whole stay is something I’ll remember. We were hiking the Camino and I wish we’d had a few more days to settle in. Cozy, charming, quaint, homey, it was all of that. My only regret is staying just one night.
