Grupotel Playa Camp de Mar - Adults Only

The hotel sits right on a lovely beach, and the pool area was nice too. It might help if they stopped people reserving loungers with towels in the morning. Our room was clean, modern, and great, and the breakfast selection was fantastic, with something for everyone.

The beach access is ideal, and the water was beautiful for swimming. The property was very clean, and the room was comfortable, though much smaller than I expected for what I paid. The breakfast buffet was the best part, with really nice choices. During breakfast, some of the student staff repeatedly cleared plates and cutlery even when people might still have been eating. It happened almost every day, and was annoying. They should check before taking away plates with food still on them. The cleaners came into the room around 8-9am each day, which felt a bit early while we were on holiday. It's a lovely, quiet location if that's what you want.

The hotel's cleanliness was below an acceptable standard. We found dirty towels and a blood stain on the blanket, which made what should have been a relaxing room feel uncomfortable. Room service wasn't helpful either, as they only served bottles of alcohol. Mallorca is beautiful, but this stay left a deeply unpleasant impression. At Grupotel Playa Camp de Mar, I felt clearly unwelcome and disrespected as an Arab guest. Staff were cold, dismissive, and sometimes openly rude to us, while other guests were treated warmly. I don't believe this was a language issue; it felt racist. When we asked for an airport taxi, we specifically explained that we had four large suitcases, but our request was ignored. At reception, in the restaurant, and in other service areas, the courtesy others received didn't extend to us. Once, while sitting in the restaurant and asking for service, staff deliberately ignored me, an Arab woman wearing a hijab, when all I wanted was a cold bottle of water. Until the hotel makes real changes to cleanliness and treats all guests with equal respect, I can't recommend it.

We had a brilliant holiday here. The rooms were pleasant and clean, and the food was great. What really made it special was the kind, lovely staff across the bar, kitchen, and entertainment team. Anuel especially went out of his way every day to ask how we'd spent our time and gave us a great tip about the Drach Caves. Thanks, Anuel, you were the cherry on top.
