If you’re after somewhere peaceful, this little village fits. The place looks lovely inside and out, and there’s a nice pool. For dinner, though, head to Antequera.

Alejandro was a very friendly host and was always available. The patio is fantastic, with a pool, barbecue, and games room. The house itself is a former bakery, with lots of space and six bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. We also loved the welcoming living room, especially the big table and fireplace. A great place for a few days with friends or family. I’d definitely recommend it.

A great base for hiking and enjoying nature, with plenty of information in the house about activities nearby. It’s right in the heart of the village, close to shops, a bakery, bars, a bank, and other amenities. There are lots of beautiful places to visit from here, and it’s a lovely place to unwind with family. The country house has plenty of charm.

The shower in room 4 took over five minutes to get hot, and when we opened the window, all we saw was a wall. The bed only had sheets, so we had to call and ask for a quilt or blanket. Breakfast was sparse and a bit cheap, with tranchetes, and €8 per person felt expensive. The road from El Caminito is in very poor shape and felt dangerous to drive at night. We’d told them when booking that we had a Dakotabox gift pack, but they said they were fully booked, even though Booking.com showed rooms available. We wouldn’t go back.
