Hotel Fuente del Sol

The part we keep thinking about is how easy and calm Fátima made the planning. We spoke with her by phone at the start, then visited the venue twice. She was organized, efficient and friendly, listened carefully, and her English was impeccable. Nothing felt like too much trouble, and on the day everything ran smoothly. We felt comfortable in the lead up and the whole process was stress free. We had our wedding at Hotel Fuente del Sol on the 9th August 2025, and they honestly made our dreams come true. Ernesto and Ana were especially great over the weekend, and all the staff were welcoming, friendly and organized. The venue is stunning, the rooms beautiful and comfortable, and the surroundings wonderful. We had the ceremony in the vineyard area, with breathtaking views. The food was delicious, even better than the tasting trial. The canapés were incredible, and lots of guests commented on them. We loved the tapas buffet at our pool party the night before too. Drinks and the party were brilliant. The bar staff were amazing, and Javi, El Ranchito weddings, the DJ recommended by the hotel, had everyone dancing all night. I don’t think the floor was ever empty. Incredible team, views and wedding weekend. We wish we could do it all again!

We hosted our wedding here this past weekend, after two visits, one to tour the venue and another for the menu tasting. Our guests loved the setting, the mountain views and the atmosphere the staff created. We’re really happy we celebrated here and now have memories with family and friends to last a lifetime. Fátima and her events team were professional, organized and cordial. I’d highly recommend working with them.

The staff were helpful and friendly, and both the breakfast and spa experience deserve 5 stars. It would be nice if eggs were cooked fresh to order, though. We stayed in a standard room with direct garden access because we were traveling with our dog. I’d read reviews mentioning large, comfortable beds, but ours was the smallest and most uncomfortable we’d had in a long time. That was totally unexpected in a place that otherwise gets so much care and attention. There was easily room for two twin beds or a super king. We wouldn’t return because sleep quality matters 50% to us when choosing a hotel.

The location takes some effort to reach, but the result is magnificent. The place has lovely views and an authentic feel, and the rooms fit the Spanish character. We had lamb, ribeye and salmon, and the ribeye was the best I’d ever had. The staff were more than friendly. Ernesto, Fatima and Mari Carmen were the people we saw most, and the kindest people we met on our whole trip in Spain.
