We stayed in a one-bedroom apartment from mid to late May 2026, and were very glad we chose this hotel after reading earlier reviews. The apartment was spotless, nicely furnished and decorated, with a big balcony, a comfortable sofa bed, plenty of sockets and four UK TV channels. The bed was huge, made from two 3-foot beds, but they stayed together without shifting. The air conditioning worked throughout. The kitchen had a microwave, toaster, kettle, new pots and pans, crockery and utensils, plus washing-up liquid, a cloth, tea towel, and a small supply of tea, coffee, sugar and milk. The bathroom felt luxurious, with a walk-in shower, a large mirror and an adjustable magnifying mirror. Shampoo and body wash were in the shower, and hand wash by the sink. Housekeeping were amazing. They cleaned daily, changed the towels even though we never left them on the floor, and replaced the crisp, cool sheets every three or four days. A couple of little problems were sorted within half an hour of us reporting them. We only had two small requests: there were 15 hangers between us, and no seat by the bedroom mirror, so we had to carry one in from the lounge or kitchen. The chairs are quite heavy for us oldies. We were self-catering, so didn't try the restaurant or entertainment. The pool music sounded a bit loud to us for the first few days, though it seemed quieter by day four or five. The entertainment host looked busy and people seemed to be joining in, but we preferred the upper terrace away from the pool. We were extremely pleased with our first visit to Fuerteventura and would happily recommend it.

We’ve found our favourite hotel after 15 years of coming to Fuerteventura, and we’ve just finished a fantastic 10-day Christmas stay. Our grandson Jayden absolutely adores Alba and Andre. They’re always kind to him and to the other guests, and somehow know everyone by name. Andre’s water-aerobics facial expressions are amazing too! 😆 The reception staff were very helpful, the cleaning was excellent, and the rooms and shared areas were clean and tidy, with plenty of places to relax. The pool lifeguard was great about putting unattended towels into bags when it rained. He also moves towels used to reserve sunbeds too early, including ours 😆🤣. I think that’s a great idea, since it stops people claiming beds or the three sofa sets and disappearing for hours. Thanks for a lovely stay. See you again! xx

January was a very calm time around the pool, with lots of room and sunbeds available. Our room was on the third floor and we never heard the neighbours, so it was very quiet. The location worked well too, with the beach about five minutes one way and restaurants and bars about five minutes the other. The room was spacious and had plenty of cooking equipment and storage for self-catering. There was also lots of wardrobe space, and the bed was very comfortable. The cleaners were kind and came at reasonable times. The hotel has a relaxing feel, and the price was incredible for this standard. We had a fantastic stay and would love to come back.

The only thing that let us down was that the beds weren't changed during our stay. Otherwise, we had a great time. The staff were friendly, everything was clean, and the rooms were spacious and lovely. The location is ideal, just a few minutes' walk from the beach and bars. We'd definitely recommend it.

Alba deserves a special mention for somehow remembering everyone's name. The rest of the staff were excellent too. The hotel was very clean, and the rooms had everything we needed. It's in a great spot, with some really nice restaurants nearby. We'd book again if we came back to Caleta.
