BLUESEA Club Caleta Dorada Hotel

The complex is spread out, but we liked the space and all the different areas. Our two-bedroom bungalow was clean and spacious, with a little terrace, chairs and a table. Towels were changed every two days and the bedding was changed too. Staff worked hard, were friendly and helpful, and made us feel welcome. The pool area and restaurant were lovely, with good-sized pools, lots of sunbeds and clean grounds. There was plenty to eat through the day, and the evening entertainment was good. Shops are nearby, and it's a short walk to the main area, the beach, mini golf, harbour and water sports. We had a lovely week away for a fantastic price. A perfect getaway, and we couldn't fault the place or the happy, helpful staff. Three stars, great price, lovely area.

It's peaceful enough to get away from things, but still close to shops, restaurants and bars. The rooms are modern and clean, and the grounds are well kept. Staff were friendly enough, and the food was what I'd expect from a three-star hotel. It was good enough, and there wasn't anything I didn't enjoy. My only issue was that there was no hair dryer in the room. I think a three-star hotel should supply one. Overall, a decent place.

We ended up at this hotel after a last-minute accommodation change, and I think it worked out for the better. We were in Block B, just a minute from the pool, snack bar and main restaurant. Staff everywhere, from reception to restaurants and snack bars, were fantastic, friendly and very helpful. A big shout to the restaurant manager and the women working in the Block B snack bar. The rooms were good, though the sockets and back-door handles needed some attention. My only real gripe was the entertainment, plus the older pool guard who seemed determined to spoil kids' fun with floating toys. Overall, a great hotel for three stars, and I'd definitely return.

We went all-inclusive, and the food was pretty good, with a different set of choices each day and an effort to suit different tastes. Everyone working there was polite and very helpful, which made our stay better. There are three pools: one below the main restaurant near reception, a smaller one across the road, and a large pool farther up the hill. Two have bars serving drinks all day and snacks until 18:00. The rooms were a little tired, especially the bathroom floor. Given what we paid, though, it was still excellent value. Such a great place to stay, and I'd definitely recommend it.
