Hotel Chatur Costa Caleta

This was our second time here and we still loved it. The hotel is clean, our room was cleaned regularly, and when I asked for an extra quilt because nights were a little chilly, there was no fuss. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, especially at reception. The first few days, the animation team weren't the best, but then Lenny arrived and made the last few days fun. The entertainment was good, and so were the all-inclusive drinks. Food was okay, if a little cold and repetitive, but still not bad. We never had trouble getting a sunbed, despite seeing a review about a shortage. We're going back to Caleta next year but trying a different hotel for a change. Hope we don't regret it. We'll definitely come back here the year after.

This was my third stay, and the room was lovely, comfortable and clean. There was plenty of food to choose from each day, though some dishes repeated and the puddings were limited. The restaurant drinks machines didn't always work properly, but there were other machines around the hotel, right by the restaurant, so it wasn't a big problem. The bigger issue for us was the lift. Only one was working on our side of the hotel. The two on the other side meant managing two sets of stairs with my husband's wheelchair, while the working lift meant just one. It was often busy, so we had long waits and sometimes couldn't fit in. There was also a roof leak that left water spreading across the corridor. A warning sign was put out, but nothing stopped the water from spreading. I suggested putting a bucket there, but was told they couldn't do that. Despite signs asking guests not to reserve sunbeds, people were doing it anyway. We struggled to find one during the trip, and I often saw beds held all day by people who didn't use them for hours.

The value for money here is top, and the food was good every day, with different kinds of meat grilled daily. The service was incredible, especially from Rashid and Ayman, who were so nice to us. I don't usually review hotels, but this was a fantastic experience. I'd recommend it to anyone and hope to come back.

We were a little wary after reading some reviews, but our week here was honestly great. It's a three-star place and delivers what you'd expect for the price. The staff were lovely, and they went all out for the Christmas Day gala dinner. Entertainment was fab, and our family came away happy. The kids' club only ran three days a week for 95 minutes each day, and was closed for two days because of Christmas, but we could forgive that. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I enjoyed the food, there was ice cream every day, and the alcohol selection was wide.
