Loft Rural La Era 1

We spent Monday through Friday here to see the surrounding area, and it was a lovely place to come back to after hiking or sightseeing. It’s a bit of a drive from Aracena town, which makes it a peaceful hidden gem. The road up is rough, but worth it. The reception staff were warm and helpful, the rooms were spacious and comfortable, and breakfast had a good variety. There’s also a cozy sofa area with a fireplace and a terrace where we watched the sunset. We had a great stay and would come back.

We arrived to find the place completely empty, with no staff around. We’d booked through Booking at 8 PM and received a confirmation email from the host with all the accommodation details. The listing said reception was open until midnight, but there was no sign of anyone. We called four times and got no answer. Then the next morning, they canceled our reservation without explanation or contacting us. No apology or follow-up, just silence. This felt completely unreliable and unprofessional. I wouldn’t trust this place.

The cheap breakfast was good, and the young man at reception was very nice. He even let us stay at the pool a little longer after check-out. At night, you can lie in a hammock and watch the Milky Way, or sit and listen to the insects in the bushes. It’s a peaceful spot in the “mountains,” away from cities and light pollution. Charming Aracena is close by and worth at least a day. It feels totally different in the daytime and evening, and both were great.

We got lots of useful information beforehand, including directions and things to do nearby. The location is really peaceful, surrounded by nature, and our room was spacious with a terrace. The staff were friendly. The one thing we missed was having a fridge in the room, but that definitely wasn’t a deal breaker.
