It's a great base for walking into the city, and the rooms are good. The bathroom needed more attention, though: the light was out, the shower head mount was broken, the soap dispenser wasn't fixed to the wall, and the faucet valve cover kept coming off. A bit more care with those details would have made this a very good stay. The staff were friendly, and the bar/cafetería is attached, which is great.

The underground car park is across the road, and the hotel is well placed for the town centre. It's spotlessly clean and the staff are friendly. I could complain that the bathroom extractor didn't work, but I've stayed in other hotels and would certainly come back to this two star place. I'd give it 5/5.

The shower was powerful and the water lovely and hot, though getting into it felt a bit cramped. Otherwise, the beds were comfortable, the rooms very clean, and the staff friendly and helpful. For a 2 star hotel, this place is brilliant, with a perfect location in this lovely town. I'd stay again.

The reception staff are always warm, friendly, and helpful when we visit, and the hotel is lovely, well situated, and has a secure garage. The bar/cafe waitress is the one downside: she's the opposite and doesn't make you feel welcome.

It's a good spot and an ISA excellent price, with a nice little cafe/bar attached. The room is bijou and spotlessly clean, though there's no fridge or minibar and not much in the way of toiletries. The air con struggled, but the weather was unusually warm. The garage is directly across the street, which is handy, though substantial roadworks are going on outside at the moment, clearly beyond the hotel's control.
