Easy to walk into the center from this quiet, pleasant hotel. Shops, bars, and some fantastic places serving local specialities are all around it.

Getting around was easy thanks to the location, and the room was comfortable, clean, and well looked after. The staff made me feel at home as soon as I arrived, always smiling and ready to help. I had a really pleasant stay and would definitely return.

We only stayed briefly, but the welcome was warm and we felt at home. The staff were attentive with every question and request, and came across as professional. I especially liked the inviting decor of the pergola on the fourth floor. We hope to come back, finish touring the best-known wineries in the Ribera del Duero region, and enjoy more of the local cuisine.

Our two nights at Hotel Villa de Aranda were awful. We found a dirty woman's thong when we moved the chair, then checked under the bed and found so much old grime it could grow potatoes. We told reception the next day and got only a "sorry," as if it were nothing. The shared areas were dirty too. The place is old, barely heated, and the receptionists had a space heater under the desk. Our travel agency told us two days before arrival that the hotel was closed, even though we'd booked there. Hopefully the new management sorts things out. For now, I wouldn't recommend it, especially with other hotels nearby. We travel a lot and have never seen this in a four-star hotel.
