After a mountain trek, we can take a shower there, then enjoy an aperitif and a wonderful meal. My wife and I do this two or three times a year, and it always feels like a real treat. The place is beautiful, the owners are very professional, the food is unbeatable, and it’s excellent value. The waitresses are so friendly and welcoming. Yesterday was another memorable day. We’re very grateful to everyone at Aterpe. Keep up the good work, Aterpe, and a big hug from Nerea and Jesus Mari...

We had a weekend at the Euskaltegi (Basque language school) with a large group, and the staff were patient and attentive throughout. They greeted us with a refreshing soup, which was especially welcome with the shower. The food was tasty and there was plenty of it. Everyone was friendly, and the service was really efficient. Thank you so much.

We picked both fries and peppers with our ribeye after the waitress asked which sides we wanted. When the bill arrived, though, the fries had added €5 and the peppers €8.50. It feels like they’re finding every possible way to squeeze money out of us.
