The rural setting was lovely, and Deana and Keith made it feel comfortable and homely. Breakfast was a hearty English one, with fruit and cereal for a lighter or healthier option. There was also internet TV with all the channels. A great place to stay.

It felt like home here. Lovely place, and fantastic hosts.

The outdoor bar and pool were a big part of our stay, and the traditional decor and original wooden details gave the villa loads of character. The rooms were comfortable and everything was very well kept. The photos on Google don't really show how nice it is. We were there in summer 2023 with friends and five kids. Deana and Keith were incredibly welcoming. They cooked breakfast to suit what we wanted each day, looked after the kids, and surprised them with treats and ice lollies. On our last day they even packed us lunch for the drive home. We were a noisy group with little ones, but never felt that was a problem. We enjoyed spending time with them and still look back fondly on the holiday. Arboleas is nice for a lazy walk in the late afternoon, with tapas bars and restaurants around. There's also a pleasant walk up the valley to El Castillo, a traditional Spanish restaurant. The prices were reasonable, and both the food and service were great. There was plenty to see in the region too. It was a wonderful holiday, and we'd definitely go back.

We had really comfortable rooms with everything we needed, and breakfast came with plenty of choice, from something light to a full feast. Deana and Keith were helpful hosts and did their best to make our stay a good one. The old building has loads of character, in a peaceful spot at the edge of a large orchard. A lovely place for a few relaxing days. If you're after somewhere with a personal touch, Cortijo Esquina has to be it.
