For two people, €130 for one night with half board and SPA access seemed like a fair price, and I’d rate it around 4.5 for what we paid. The food was average, with few choices, so there’s room to improve there. Our room also needs work, especially the bed, decor, and air conditioning. We had to ask for a hair dryer, though the staff were otherwise fine. The Casino bar just across the way is great for a drink.

I went only for the buffet, which cost €22 plus drinks. The food was awful, and I couldn’t find anything that seemed fresh. Most of it looked like it had come from cans, and it lacked salt and herbs. For a restaurant in a four-star hotel, I wouldn’t give it a star.

I’ve stayed here many times because it’s the closest place to the baths. The rooms have style, and there’s something intriguing about the hotel itself.

The scenery is beautiful, and the treatments were good. The thermal pool and massages cost extra, though. Bring insect repellent: there are lots of mosquitoes, with the river along the spa and plenty of vegetation nearby. The treatment staff were friendly, and so were the cleaners. I came through the IMSERSO program. Most meals were good, but breakfast was a little meager. The fruit selection could use more variety. It was always the same options: bananas, oranges, tangerines, apples, and pears.
