For what it costs, the room was decent enough. Breakfast, toast and coffee, was served at the cafe across the road. The shower door had come off its runner, and there weren’t any tea or coffee making facilities in the room.

Serafín at the front desk was so kind and helped us with restaurant suggestions, directions, and anything we weren’t sure about, including how to get to the famous Thermal Baths (Balneario de Archena). It’s a peaceful 30-minute walk, depending on your pace, and we walked both ways. There’s a nice place for a warm, fresh breakfast across from the hotel, Bar Murcia, which I fully recommend. We had two beautiful, peaceful nights in this cute, clean hotel, with great customer service. It’s within walking distance of cafés and the main amenities. Look for it next to Sabadell Bank. We walked back and forth before asking someone, then found it above the bank, where the hotel flags are visible. I found the beds comfortable, as I’m a sleeper. My husband, who isn’t, thought they were all right. The shower felt a bit tight for him, as he’s a bigger guy. This was in our room with Spanish-size twin beds.

Serafín was very attentive, especially with my elderly parents. His treatment of them was outstanding. The place felt welcoming, and the renovated rooms had a magnificent bathroom with a super modern shower.
