Club Hotel Aguamarina

The kids had a brilliant time with the mini golf, inflatables, splash park, slides, playground, kids club, arcade, mini disco, evening shows, and plenty more. We had a lovely nine nights as a family of four at the end of September, and the hotel was phenomenal value. We paid a small amount extra for an upgraded room and thought it was worth it. One heads up: mosquitoes bite during the day in Menorca, so bring strong repellent. I got over 20 bites on the first day, and they all blistered. We felt uncomfortable in the dining area because some older couples, around half the guests and from France and Portugal, stared and tutted when our children acted like children. It may be different in peak season, but that was our experience off season. The air conditioning leaked across our floor, into the wardrobe, and out into the hallway. Reception arranged an inspection and cleaners came, but nobody apologized. The snack bar food was a real letdown: the meat was very poor quality, and the fries were repeatedly served hard, bitter, and reheated. I'd suggest a smaller menu with better food. The pizza corner was nice, though most of the time the base was undercooked and doughy. Even with those issues, we had a really good holiday, and the hotel could improve in a few areas. The kids enjoyed it so much that we're hoping to book again for 2027 with friends.

The beach at the bottom of the hill is beautiful, with crystal clear water, and well worth the short walk. We found the pools a bit cold at first, but they felt fine once we got in. The rooms aren't large, though they did the job, and were cleaned daily with fresh towels each day. The food was very nice with plenty of choice. Food hall staff were especially polite and helpful, and did a great job keeping everything clean and tidy while answering questions. Most staff were lovely. We did notice some lifeguards weren't paying much attention to the pools, though that wasn't all of them. One young female lifeguard with long black hair and green pool shoes was always smiling and observant. We had a great stay on our first visit and will be coming back.

WiFi in the rooms was terrible, and our room and bathroom felt quite small and dated. Maybe some of the other rooms are bigger. Still, we felt it was good value for money, and the people were lovely. The restaurant door attendant was especially kind to all the children. We just got back from a family holiday and really liked the place. The staff were friendly and lovely with the kids, the beach was close by, and there were lots of pool activities. We also enjoyed the food and drinks, the evening activities, and having our room cleaned every day.

Menorca is absolutely beautiful. The cove and beach views were stunning, and everything felt so peaceful. We enjoyed the tasty food and thought there was a good selection, especially the puddings. The evening entertainment for adults was great, and the kids' shows were fun too, although some evenings the children's entertainment lasted only half an hour. We skipped the daytime activities apart from pipa's circus. For our first family holiday, there was so much for the kids to do. Staff were all extremely polite and kind to them, and encouraged them to use their Spanish. Everywhere was lovely and clean, and our room was spotless. The room was ridiculously small, though. It had two single beds and bunk beds, with so little floor space that we had to turn sideways to get between the beds. It was hard for all of us to get ready in there. We're hoping to come back, but we'd need to upgrade to a bigger room.
